There was an in the local newspaper for houses for rent, it had a phone number. I called it states the name of the company, Tenant marketplace, they provide you with a list of houses for rent where you don't have to pay an application fee if you mention you found it through them, it states no credit check. The fee is $149, you have unlimited access to their website to look at a listing of properties in your area. The disclaimer states that you must access the website 75 of the 90 consecutive days, if you are not satisfied with the service, if you didn't find anything, you can request a refund by email & if approved it would be mailed to your address.
The problem was that the first 2 months I could not access the website. At first they didn't have me in the system, then they had me in the system as a property owner. Day after day it was the same listings, some listed several times. I emailed them from the beginning requesting my refund because I felt I was cheated from the beginning. At one point I was told that the website wasn't working in my state. I sent several emails requesting my money back, but they kept responding with the disclaimer, that I had to wait my 90 days.
So after 90 days I emailed my request for a refund. After 3 weeks I hadn't heard anything, so I email them again. There response was they had emailed me 3 times & my refund was denied. I email them back stating I didn't think it was fair due to the problems I had the first 2 months when I could access the website, so there was no way I would be able to do 75 days. I also stated I was going to report them to BBB. Their response was "Tenant Marketplace is out of business, you will NEVER get a refund." I emailed them back & told them how I felt & that the proper authorities had been notified & they would get there's. Their response was "ok dummy."
