I checked into Survey-Platinum and learned it was a Number 1 company for taking surveys through using a database system. After reading their guidelines, rules, looking over the frequently asked questions, I read on their website that the fee of $34.95 would be refunded if not satisfied.
I paid online with a credit card in July received a welcome message and login information in order to access the over 300 companies listed on their database, which need and use participants for their surveys.
After making a diligent effort for approximately one and a half weeks of submitting my personal information to many companies, I felt this was not what I wanted to do. I contacted Survey Platinum through their website advising them of same. I received a response stating that I would have to wait 75 days before requesting a refund.
On the 75th day in September, I contacted the company again and did not receive a response. I decided to wait for my credit card statement believing my refund was credited to my account. When I received my statement in October, I saw that no credit was issued.
I then emailed the company again and was advised that it was too late since it had been 118 days. I contacted them again through email, explaining the steps I had taken on the 75th day after advised by them to do so. I also told them, email support, that no response was made to me on the 75th day.
Since then I had contacted them again to see if they would make good on their claim as nowhere in the information on their website does it state that a refund request has to be made after 75 days. Of course, I have not received a response nor a credit.
How convenient to wait after 75 days are up before responding and then stating it is too late for any action.
