In Sept. a representative from North American Telephone Network called me on the phone. He had noticed I had visited their webpage. He offered me cheap long distance service with a monthly fee of $25.00 with a free 1000 minutes the first month. He also offered other services but I didn't need them so I chose only the long distance service. The first bill I received was for $108.58, then 6.86 every two weeks.
I called them to inquire about the charges and to cancel my account with them. And they said they'd made a mistake. They would refund me the $83.58 and each of the 6.86 charges. They didn't disconnect me, but continued bulling the 6.86 again. I called several times and emailed them many many times.
Each time, they would respond saying I would be receiving the refund "by Friday", "in 5 to 10 business days", etc. I have never received it although I have reported them to the BBB, Consumer Trade Commission, and several internet fraud sites.
