The first time that I received a call from a C.S. R from (NATN) she told me that I haven't been paying my utility bills. I told her that I don't pay utilities. She then told me "what you don't pay your bills"?
I responded "yes, I pay my bills but my utilities are included in the rent". She then told me that I had ordered long distance service with them. I told her that I don't have long distance. She then told me that I had ordered Service with them back in 2000 and, that I still owe them $43.00. She asked me for my credit card #. I refused to give it to her. Then she said that they would take legal action against me if I don't resolve this bill.
I told her to do it then. That I was not going to give my credit card # to her and why are they just now contacting me after 3 years? She said that they had been trying to reach me several times. She also gave me someones last 4 digits credit card #. I told her that it was not mines then she accused me of giving them a false credit card #.
I told her to send me a bill, and she refused to do so. Once again I received a call regarding this bill. I told the lady that I will not give my credit card # to her. To send me a bill. She had me to call 1-800-822-0019 and to have them send me a bill but, if resolve the bill within the next 24 hours that they would only charge me $21.00 if I paid by credit card or w/my bank card. I told her no.
I then call the 1-800 # and spoke to someone about sending me a bill she said that they would charge me $5.00 more for sending me the bill, and late charges since the year of 2000. I told her that I would be contacting the B.B. B too. Someone needs to put a stop to this scam from NORTH AMERICAN TELEPHONE NETWORK!
