Rip-off gets business by lying and cheating Caller Beware!

How much do you think a one minute phone call to the US, billed to an American Express card, from a "pay phone" in the Mexico City airport is going to cost? You can guess it won't be cheap, but that's OK, the convenience is worth something. $5? $10 $20? No, how about $39.85.

Yes, that's right, $39.85 for a 1 minute phone call. It took quite a while to figure out who had ripped me off. Qwest didn't put their name on the phone, and they didn't even put their name next to the 800- number AmEx printed right next to the $39.85 charge. (I guess AmEx got tired of fielding all those irate calls.) I had to call the number and spend time on hold before I found the name of the con artist company.

Why do reputable firms like AmEx continue to give them services? AmEx is implicating itself in this scam.

Complaint shows me I am not the only one. Qwest's operating principles seem to make many customers so mad they want to scream. If you see Qwest coming at your pocketbook, RUN LIKE H*LL!!!
