On June 18, i stopped by 99cents store for some groceries w / i often do from work. I got 22 items in my shopping bag, but the next evening I happened to look and checked my receipt and I saw a descripancy w / one item, w/c the cashier double charged me for that item. So the next day, i went back to that 99 cents store around, i spoke to the manager on duty (w/c i forgot to ask his name) he just looked at me like i just want another cheese puff and said "you want me to believe you after 48 hrs? Why you did not call right away that there is something wrong?"This manager did not even checked the receipt in my hand... He just said he is not to do anything about it w / that kind of discrepancies after 48 hrs. He said that they will do something only on that day or the next day. My side why did i go there for just a 99 cents worth is a principle that if the cashier of 99 cents store has a discrepancies like this on every customer every day and no one seems to care... What do you all think... 99 cents can be 99 million in a matter of years while in the meantime consumers suffers. I wish everyone who shop in 99 cents store will be aware that in every items is 99cents, thats a very hard earned 99cents in our way of life nowadays.
