Walmart is one of the most openly racist and discriminative stores in the world or at least the Walmart at Gresham Rd. Is. I've noticed that out of all the Walmart's I've shopped at, this is the most discriminative store there is.
Every time a paying customer comes to the exit, their bags are searched and the receipt is checked like they're some type of thief and I've noticed, this only happens to the Black customers and only at that location. I've never been stopped in non-black communities. One day I watched a non-black customer approach the exit with their item in their hand and the door attendant allowed him a trusting exit through. Some items that have been checked for me are:
1. Water @. 74 cents
2. Reeses cups @ approximately. 50 cents or less
3. Toilet Paper/Paper Towels (6-12 roll packs)
4. Etc.
Keep in mind these are items that are not in a bag and when I attempted to leave through the Automotive Shop to catch Public Transportation with my purchased items in a bag, I was bomb rushed by two Walmart staff to check my bag and receipt like I was some criminal.
