Does not honor warranty

I will keep this simple.

Had a water heater installed 1.5 years ago.

I called them yesterday for repair under warranty. They tell me to go to water heater manufacturer for replacement. (The tank is supposedly warranteed by the manufacturer.)

However, this text is directly from their website:

* Electric Water Heater - Lifetime seamless blow-molded polybutlylene tank, guaranteed not to leak.

Well, it's leaking.

Bottom line: My agreement was with the plumbing company, not the manufacturer of the water heater.

They are a BBB Business Ethics aware winner for 2007.

Anyway, that's the bottom line. I would go into the phone calls and me begging for them to honor the warranty... But it's just not worth it. This company is no different than the others.
