Do not buy ge or hotpoint water heater. When you need any parts, no one stocks the parts and GE does not honor the warranty. I have 2 years old water heater that needed one pilot line. My plumber had been calling the GE but they do not honor the warranty and they had been giving us run around for 5 days in the winter with no hot water. I am having my plumber install a new heater. Buy non GE water heater that you could get parts for if needed.
