Ok so after researching and trying to find someone who could help me get a personal loan to help pay off some medical expenses I have I found Personal Credit Services. I got on their website and read and re-read all of the information about them. Then I saw where you have to pay them a certain fee which they determine in order to get the lenders information to apply for a personal loan. I applied with all of the lenders and I was denied by each one. My credit is really bad due to not working for almost a year because of a complicated pregnancy and being on bed rest.
Well, I've emailed this company for over a week now stating that I want to get a refund in the total amount of $99.00 for the fee and the $1.00 they take from your account to "donate to a charity of their choice". I have not received anything back from them. The only thing I have gotten is the address to physically mail a refund request to and they state that they must have all documentation showing proof that you were denied before issuing a refund. It also states that the refund will be prorated. That's b-s to me. There is no phone number to contact this company at either. The one number I found only gives a recorded message to get on their website and email them with any questions/concerns and your email is usually replied to within one business day.
This company is stealing money from people across this country who have less then perfect credit. Their website advertises that they guarantee 100% you will be approved by one of the lenders they provide to you. I agree with what everyone else is saying on here. A class action lawsuit needs to be brought against this company and everyone who has used this company and paid them their hard earned money should get an enormous amount back for screwing people over and taking advantage of them. If anyone is filing a class action lawsuit against Personal Credit Services, Inc. Please let me know. I will have my name signed on the petition in a heartbeat!
Also this company when providing you with a list of lenders also adds in there credit card companies to apply for a credit card. I emailed them and said that I was NOT looking for a credit card. That would not help me. I was looking for a personal loan that I could use the money from that and pay off medical expenses that I had incurred over the past 2 years and could not pay off.
