These guys purport to be a large international business consulting firm that will help your business be more profitable. The pitch is a classic low key/high pressure sales call that pushes you to sign up for "free" consulting.
Of course, the consulting is not free and in fact costs $900. This was revealed after I repeatedly asked the sales person for the costs associated with the service. The pitch evolved from "free" to "a fair cost" to $900.
The salesman who called on me went on to make many claims about all the businesses he had helped. When asked for references I was told that because of "security" they could not give out names and phone numbers.
I pressed further and was given a trashy laser-printed "brochure" (from the big international consulting firm) that contained a whole list of testimonials. I decided to research the companies and individuals listed in the brochure, and found that not one company or individual listed as a testimonial was real.
The salespersons "supervisor" called me two days after the meeting to press for a signed agreement. I reported what I had experienced with their salesman and had found about the testimonials. The supervisor became very agitated and abusive but offered no reasonable response.
