I applied for a LLC corporation through the website Incorporatetime.com in January. I asked for an express service which will complete my order and delivery in 5-12 business days and paid $355 with my credit card. They asked for a fax number on the application which I left blank because the fax number I use is my home phone number and the only way I could receive faxes is if I turned on the function to do so. They mailed me a disclosure form and the information for the corporation that I filled out on-line for approval and signatures they needed in order to process the order. I called them on their 1-800 number to ask if I can change some things on the application. I got their voicemail and left a message. I did not hear back from them so the next day I emailed and asked how I can make some changes I needed on the order. They emailed me back a week later and told me to mark up the order they sent and fax in to them, which I did. I called them a few minutes later to confirm if they recieved my fax with the changes. Again, I got a voicemail and left a message and emailed if they got my fax. I did not hear from them so I checked the status of my order on-line at their website a few days later, and my order showed that it had not yet been sent to the state for processing. So, again I emailed them to confirm if they received my fax to process the order. They replied back the same day and said that they tried to fax back the order with the changes for original signatures. I emailed back to them saying I did not included a fax number on the application and that they did not tell me they needed original signatures. They replied back and said they tried faxing back to the number that I faxed them. Of course it did not received because I did not know they were trying to fax and the function to receive faxes was not turned on. It was difficult to contact anyone or get a reply from them and I was not getting the service I needed so I requested a refund. They responded that there will be a $75 service fee and they will refund the difference. I emailed and asked where they have on their agreement which says that they will charge $75 for cancellation. This is what they have according to their terms on their website...
"If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the services of INCTIME after receipt of the incorporation documents or logo designs, INCTIME will retain a seventy-five dollar processing fee, and will refund the remainder of the fees paid to INCTIME.in the event that INCTIME has not initiated processing of your order, INCTIME will retain a twent-five dollar processing fee and will refund the remainder of the fees paid to INCTIME."
I emailed them back and said that they had not processed the order and I had not received the incorporation documents and requested a $25 service fee and refund the remainder. They emailed back and said they normally charge $35 per change and will charge $75 for service fee. I emailed and said that I did not get any service and threatened to contact the credit card company and every agency to collect a full refund. After a few exchanges they agreed to retain $35 service fee and refund the rest.
After researching about their company through other links it seems like they received other complaints that were similar as well. They do not deliver any services they promised. They collect the fees up-front and I was lucky they even refunded some of the money I paid. I believe that an internet company like this should not exist where it's impossible to talk to live person. I don't know why they even list a phone number when all I get is voicemail and none of the messages were returned. Their response time is horrible and as well as their customer service. I hope that this company does not waste any more of consumer's time. After contacting another service I was able to get my corporation documents from the state within the same day of the application without any hassel.
