My husband and I purchased a Delux Split Queen Adjustable bed from Sleepy's Mount Holly for $6718.52 on 11/17. Because of a severe heart condition I have I needed a special mattress so I could sleep at a 45 degree angle and provide better circulation at night for my legs. I explained that to the salesman and purchased that bed from him.
It was delivered the next day and I slept on it that night for the first time. It was horrible! There was a gap down the center of the bed and nothing held the two seperate mattresses together so when you moved at night so did the mattress. My legs kept getting stuck in between the mattresses.
The next day I placed a call to the store I purchased the mattress from and they told me I had to sleep on it for 2 weeks before I could exchange the bed. My husband and I then went to the store to exchange it and was told that I could only exchange the mattress and not the adjustable frame. Well that made no sense cause it was a set and two seperate bed frames that another mattress won't fit on right. Thier suggestion " Bolt them together". I couldn't believe it the company's policy quarantees the customer to be 100% satisfied and I wasn't.
Right after I slept on the bed I informed them. The worst part is I got the bed to help my heart condition and make it comfortable for me when I'm home and not in the hospital and now I have a bed I can't sleep in.
