Ack in august of this year i stopped by tmobile store to upgrade my phone. Needless to say i was convinced to renew my contract and add an additional line for my son. I figured after 2 years with them why not.
I went ahead and got a family for $109.00 a month plus $10.00 more month for unlimited text messages for my line. Everything was great the sales person did his job i was happy because the sales person even agreed to waive the activation fee and other fees that would add up for the renewal.

When i say my first bill on line i almost hit the roof. It was for over $400.00. My bill was to be no more than $150.00 a month. I called the sales person and explained my problem to him, he looked up my bill and saw that he had made a mistake and added the unlimited text messages to my sons line instead of mine. I got charge over fifty dollars for text messages plus activation fees per each line and other fees which were never explained to me.
The sales person agreed he had made a mistake and he would correct it when my bill came through the mail. Well, i never receive a paper copy so i decided to go in with a print out of my online statement to the store. He gentleman who had helped me was on vacation and would not be back for a week. I needed to pay my bill otherwise i would be disconnected.

I called the 800 number for tmobile and explained my problem to the customer service rep. She sympathised with me and agreed to give me credit for the text messages and the activation fees. The pro rated amount the guy and the actual store was about $100.00 give or take. Since my bill was not due when i resigned my contract.

I ended up paying about $97.00 and i was asured that this would not repeat itself. Well, much to my surpise i was again charged over $400.00 for that month. I again called and explained myself again, and it was adjusted once again. I made my payment and again i was asured that this would not repeat itself. Well surpise! I was again charged over $300.00 and this time i got attitude after i complained to them for having to repeat myself. I did speak with one very nice lady which i remember her name was Shanon. She was the only one who i think saw what really happened. The overages and fees were never discounted like i was told.

All they did was apply them to the following month. She went and spoke to her supervisor and that person agreed that my balance was only $175.00 which is about right for my monthly bill. I was going to pay that amount right there and then but i had one question for her. Will i have this problem again or was this the last of it. She spoke with her super and they couldnt asure me anything. I might still be charged an additional $140.00 for the month of september which they say i never paid.

I asked her if in the month of september i was ever disconnected for not paying my bill. Her answer was no. I can not go more than 5 days late when i am getting text messages that my phone will be disconnected unless i pay. Do you honestly believe that they would allow me to go more than a month past due? When i asked her this her answer was maybe i slipped through the cracks. No way! Make a very long story short she was to call me back with a solution to my probem and she never did so i called her back. They would not allow me to speak directly with her, instead i got some jerk supervisor who all he could tell me was how i was going to pay this amount. I was very upset and i told him that i would not pay a penny more

I explained to him that i was breaking my contract with them not because i wanted to or because of something i did wrong, but because they failed me. Now i am getting threatend with early cancelation fees for each line and more than likely my credit will be destroyed. I have worked very hard to repair it after my divorce and for these guys to destroy it for something that i was not at fault i just dont think this is fair.

I have spoken to other people and they tell me they had similar propblems with them as well. Please if someone can tell me what legal rights i have and if there is any way i can stop them from ruining my credit please let me know. I no longer want to deal with a company that lives of deception and lies. I already went back to sprint, i dont want to even see the name tmobile again.
