SweetBoots.com is an online store specializing in the sale of, amongst other things, the highly-sought after "New Rock" brand of boots. Although their site is less than classy-looking, they are one of the few retailers to carry such a wide selection of said boots.
Having placed an order at the start of the year for a pair of boots (over $300 in value) I was told they would be shipped in a couple of weeks. And then another couple of weeks went by... At this point, I became suspicious and started investigating. Two similar reports appeared on usacomplaints.com stating much the same thing.
I asked again about when the boots would be sent, and voiced my displeasure - they would be sent 'soon'; they would be sent 'as soon as they arrived' (from where, one asks?)
I did further research. There are a lot of displeased buyers out there, wondering where their merchandise is; one buyer even claimed on this very site that their credit card number was used fraudulently to donate several thousand dollars to an Islamic Relief fund (although I have not seen this report recently, so it may have been rebutted.)
Here's where things get interesting... This is a quote taken directly from here:

The site above is a BBS for 'adult webmasters'. Our friend that runs SweetBoots.com is a member, albeit under the member name "analgalleries" (good grief) and he runs "two sites right now Anal Galleries and Daily 69".
Just to clarify, not that I care if this person has a pornographic side-business, but for those less savvy in what's going on - this guy makes money by referring visitors to other, explicit websites. He also apparently received all manner of threats from a fellow adult webmaster.
Oh, and apparently his name may or may not be "Herb", ICQ number 7013261.
Ironically, the boots actually turned up a while back, albeit over SIX MONTHS late. So the seller's heart seems to be in the right place, even if his behavior is well beyond unprofessional.
As an additional note, I did learn an important piece of information - many banks, bank card companies and credit card companies will not reverse a payment after a certain time period (usually a month.) So if you do buy from this company - and you are told "It'll be another couple of weeks" - DON'T HESITATE, contact your bank right away and get your money back before it's too late!
