Do I have any recourse? Ripoff

I was served with arbitration papers from Scott Lowery for an MBNA debt that was charged off about four years ago. I was scared and foolishly agreed to their payment terms. The debt is double what MBNA charged off. After reading the posts here I realize that I made a huge mistake. Do I have any recourse now?
