Below is a copy of an e-mail I sent to PBS.
I am letting you know by e-mail that I am cancelling my order. I have spoken to Mr. Ware who called me 8/7/07, and we listened to the tape & it said that I "CAN" cancel at any time. He then sent the call over to Nathen (a spuervisor) who told me I needed to call customer service. All the while I had the phone on speaker & 2 other individuals in my office heard the same thing I did about being able to can cancel at any time.
I then called 800-949-2271 & spoke to a customer service and told her I wanted to cancel the order. She said she had to pull the tape & call me back, She did so with attitude and said she listened to the tape and heard me agree to the agreement that I can NOT cancel at any time. I asked her to play the tape for me and she did. Again I had someone from my office listen, & the original tape clearly says I CAN cancel at any time not that I CAN'T. The woman argued with me. I advised to cancel the account period. I also advised her I would not pay.
I performed a web search for you company, I was shocked with all the consumer complaintss were listed against your company. I have forearded a copy of the e-mail you the Better Business Bureau, the complaint & The Delaware Attorney Generals Office.
Again, please cancel my subscription at no charge to me. Thank YOU!
