I have a providian account since 1999 I have been paying them for years then Card servive center wrote to me and said that providian sold there account to them. At that time I did not think anything of it. This happens a lot. So I started making payment to them and Providian will call for a payment so I send money to providian. I notice the accounts numbers were different card service change the number that starts with 5189 which is a master card number. Providian card number starts with 4479 which is a visa card number. I sent card service copies on this matter showing account is not the same and they will not do nothing about it. I recieve calls everyday from card service. I asked them several times to send me the account number I paying on providian they will not sent me know information. My account from providian is paid off and charge off since 2006. I still get phone calls from card service everyday. I am so tired trying to expain my account is paid off.
