Ecommerce Store And Glen Allyn Store, Mr/Mrs Beah Paying for a rush order and being told I will not get my daughters dress until 2 days before the wedding Ripoff Glen Allyn Illinois

My daughter and I ordered her wedding dress 11 weeks prior to her wedding. I was contacted 2 weeks later telling me that in order to get her dress in enough time for her wedding I would have to pay an additional $125 (the dress already cost $500). I paid with the understanding that it would be here 2 weeks prior to the wedding. I received an email today (9 July) 1 month before the wedding, telling me that I would not receive the dress until 2 days before the wedding. The first problem is why would any mother of the bride order a dress and expect it 2 days before the wedding. We do not know if the dress will actually fit. The second problem is that if we receive the dress 2 days prior to the wedding my daughter will be miles away at the wedding site as the wedding is not in the same state as the dress is being delivered which I told House of Brides from the onset. So I started calling today and I called and I called and I called and waited on hold and I waited on hold and I waited. I finally missed a call and as it happened it was on my cell, so it had a different number from the website number ie Glen Allyn 630-629-4040 which is indeed the corporate headquarters (i'll get to that shortly). So I called there initially very politely and asked to speak to whomever had called. She said that the "salon" was not affiliated with the website, although when you wait on hold they tell you to visit them on "their" website. She gave me the 800 number with I might add is the same number as the 630 number that they ask you to call if you are calling about delivery information. My recommendation is to wait on hold on the 800 number because then it costs House of Brides not you. I called the 800 number repeatedly with no response or no one answering. I wrote to the "live" operator and there was none to be found. So I called back to the Glen Allyn store and said I could not get anyone and so the receptionist said after being rude and uncooperative that she would "try" to get someone to call. After an hour wait, I called again and she said she had passed the message on. I asked to speak to a manager and she said they had no managers. I asked to speak to the owners and she said there were none. My husband called and asked to whom she had passed the message or with whom could we speak to get this worked out and she said there was absolutely no one. Finally, someone did call, she was agressive uncooperative and said that I had agreed to have my daughters wedding dress delivered 2 days before the wedding with the "rush order" and they were making my daughters wedding dress at Impressions ie the bridal designer. I asked how they could be making a size 12 wedding dress when the did not have my daughters measurements that this was an OTR (off the rack) type of dress and I was sure they had it in their store. She told me then I should have gone to the "salon" to get the dress (I live in a different state and would not have anyway of getting to their "salon" that's why I ordered it off the site). She said I could not get my money back and since my daughters wedding date had not passed (remember she's getting married in a different state from the state the dress will be delivered to) that I was SOL. She also used a bogus name would not give out any information about owners etc and basically told me to stick it, thank you very much. She also said that there were no managers to speak to and that she would do nothing to rectify the situation, no refund, no dress, no nothing. So... I called back to the 4040 number and asked to speak to the owners politely and repeatedly. She kept hanging up on me. But I did wait some time and called back found out that in fact that Mr. And Mrs. Beah would be there the following day, which confirmed the former employees statement that Glen Allyn is the headquarters. So my daughter is now forced to look for a dress else where in order to have it fitted etc prior to the wedding. If the House of Jokes aka House of Brides does sue that former employee, I will gladly donate to the defense fund as they are the crappiest, rudest website I have ever done business with. They are just out to make the buck, they do not care at all about the customer and they lie repeatedly to get more more out of you ie "rush orders" we cannot get that for before you wedding unless you put a rush order.
