I am writing to share with you about my disappointment in regard of the unethical business conduct from Capital One credit card services. There story is as follow:
On 04-09, I made a request for payment online for the amount of $9.95 which is due for payment on 04-09.2007. (Unfortunately, I did not print out the payment confirmation)
On 04-21, I checked my account and found out that request was not executed. Therefore, the balance of $9.95 became past-due amount and a past due fee of $19 was charged to my account. To protect my creditbility, I immediately made another online payment request for the whole outstanding balance of $39.40. This time, I printed out the payment confirmation.
Today, 04-22, that payment transaction has not shown up when I checked my account online. The balance on my account is still there.
Now, I can conclude that something goes wrong with their (Capital One) system or at least to my account. My concern is whether it is a techincal error or Capital One deliberately did so to earn income for their business.
