Merchant Lynx services should be banned completely. They start with telemarketing slogan, "$500 Challenge". Once the sales rep visited my store, he talked about how much money that their service will save my store. They don't tell you anything about monthly fees, annual fees, and lengh of contract. They convinced me to sign a new lease with new equipment because it will save me more money.
My biggest issue was that the sales rep was lying to me by telling me that I am under no obligation and that I can end the service without any cost if I am not satisfied. After using them for serveral months, their service absolutely sucked and the new leased equipment was not saving me any money and their telemarketer were still calling me few times a week trying to sell the service when I was already using their service.
So, when I decided to end the service, and they refused to end the service, and they steals monethly fee from my business account without providing any service. When I talk to their customer service rep, "Ms. Chayane" says only way out is to pay $395 pentalty fee. It didn't matter if the sales rep was lying or not. She said I signed the contract and I am liable for everything on that contract. And it will take up to 6 weeks so that they can take additional fund from my account.
She won't let me talk to anyone else who could help me clear my case, and that she claimes that she only reports to the owner of this big corporation and there is no one else. She claims that the owner does not talk to customers and I have no other choice but to pay the penalty or keep paying monthly service fee without using any service.
Ms. Chayane deny receving any faxes and letters that I have sent for 2 months and tells me only way she will assist is if I sign an approval to take $395 out of my account.
I have filed formal complaint to Better Business Burau and Attorney General Office. The whole company is fraud and everyone should avoid them completely.
