Some time ago I purchased a toy for my son's birthday from ToysRUs. My husband was talked into buying the protection for the product. The product cost $23.99. The protection program was $2.99. It broke before a year. I called to get the info in order to return it. I was told I would have to pay all shipping charges along with insurance and return receipt. It is going to cost me over half of what I paid for the product. Do not fall for this. Do not buy there protection plan. Don't email them. They do not respond.
