I spent two hours at their office recently and emailed my Word formatted resume for a job that they advertised on their website. I called several times for Lauren Mahaffey. I left voice mails when the line transferred to voice mail. Several times, the line kept ringing with no one answering. One time when I called, the person who answered stated if Lauren couldn't call back that she would have someone else call. No called back that day or after. Last week, I called for the last time and I do not plan on hearing from them, either.
I interviewed with another staffing company two weeks ago and they didn't have nice things to say about this company.in addition, I had some friends who temp'ed at American Funds last year when American Funds gave nominal pay rate increases to all of their temps. My friends said that Hawkins refused to pass on the pay rate increase to their temps. Talk about greedy.
Words of advise to prospective candidates: run as fast as you can from this company and never look back. You'll regret ever working with them.
