I ordered a small steam table for my restaurant on Nov. 8. It was supposed to be delivered on Monday, Nov. 13. FedEx claimed we were closed, but I received other packages from FedEx that day also. If we were not around, no door tag was left. On Tuesday the 14th, no steam table and no door tag. On Wednesday, they claimed that it could not be delivered due to bad weather, but again I received numerous other packages from FedEx. On Thursday the 15th, the driver showed up and started talking loudly about why he had complaints on the package. I asked him not to be so loud, as people were eating. I took him aside and told him that if he could not act professionally, he needed to leave and to get someone else to deliver the package.
He left. I called FedEx, told them of the problem and was transferred to his supervisor. I explained the problem, he agreed with me and told me that he would work on getting someone else to deliver the package. Now, some 9 days later, I see that the package is in Portland, Oregon, which is about 375 miles away, and is on its way back to the shipper. So here I am, out my money and with no product.
