Had my services go out on wed, nov. 22 2006 heavy rain and wind weather cleared up the next day thanksgiving the 23rd got that big blue box on my t.V. "accuiring signal" after waiting one hour decided to call dishnetwork service number.
Thats when all the real fun starts after playing around with one of the worlds worst automated phone system was able to get a live person i explained to them what was going on. They had go threw the usual trouble shooting stuff and to no luck still no signal.
It was at that point i ask to have a repairman come out to my home and fix the problem. Well thats when the you know what hit the fan! They imformed me that the earliest someone could be there was on wed, nov, 29th 6 days later
After a day i decided to call back again to get the service person out to my home earlier than the 29th well no way the claimed they were all book up and that was the earliest the could come out.
Well i'm sorry thats totally not fair they get my payement on time every month at about 85.00 @ month thats over a thousand dollars a year and this is the service you get please how is it the phone company/gas company/electric company who have way more customers the the dishnetwork people have can get somebody out to your home in 24 to 48 hrs is just unacceptabl
I encourage everbody to to drop your service asap maybe then the will start taking care of the consumer then just treating us like 2nd class people.
Sad to say but in will be breaking my dish.
