In a nutshell, after 3 months they were going to charge me over $100 to cancel my service. They spent 3 months trying to convince me that my local phone # would transfer. The only number I could get from Vonage was long distance making it impossible for me cancel my regular phone service.
So I have been paying for 2 services over the past many months. I called today to cancel (after 8 months of service that I'm unable to use) and was told I had to pay $39 to cancell!
This is such a rip off. They sign you up under false cover of transfering your local #. It's ironic that my next door neighbor signed up the same time as me with the same exchange number & phone company with no problem getting their number transferred. I was trying to cancel my service due to this issue and the CS was trying to sell me more service!
What a joke. They dont even care that this co. Rips people off. Their focus is $ & ripping of consumers! Rude cs!
