I prepaid for oil delivery. When I called and requested oil delivery it took repeated phone calls to finally get him to deliver. Over the summer I called and requested that my tank be topped for the following season, waited a month, no oil delivered.
I finally decided to switch oil suppliers. I called twice and sent two letters requesting a refund of my account credit over a two month period, no response. I contacted the local BBB and to date he has ignored 2 letters from them. A complaint was also filed with the PA Attorney Generals office.
My account credit isn't significant but if I request it be returned it's my money and it should be sent without delay. Some states have laws concerning account credits. If PA doesn't have something like this it should be done to provide consumer protection.
