Charged for pay per view adult movies we never ordered ripoff

A few months ago we recieved a bill from dish network that had 17 adult movies ordered within a span of two monthes. One day 7 or 8 in a row were ordered from about 2am to 9am or 10am. Outraged we had called their customer service and explained to them that we did not order any movies at all and there had to be a mistake.

They informed us that there was no way possible there could be a mistake and that their equipment is infailable. That the movies were ordered from our reciever and in no way they would refund our money. We protested and asked to speak with a supervisor. They explained to us that we were talking to the supervisor and that there was nothing they could do.

Like they said their computers show that the order came from our reciever and it is impossible for it to be a mistake, and continued on to go as far as to make the accusation that one of the household members had been ordering these movies and it was our problem not theirs. We ended the conversation since it was getting no where and tempers were getting out of hand a bit.

We decided to call back again later and try to reason with another individual. That did no good. We tried two or three more times to explain the situation to them but they would not budge on the it was ordered from you reciever line.

Finally we had to make a decision on what to do about this fraudulant charge since our box was about to get turned off. Keep in mind we live out in the country so we have no alternative to the dish for programming. If we did our decision would have been easy. After a long debate my wife and I decided to pay the bill under protest before they cut our service. We called and payed the bill off.

After about a week a message kept popping up on our box to contact them if we didnt want our service interuppted, so we did. They conveyed to us that even though our bill was payed up in full they wanted a monthes payment in advance or our box would be disconnected.

We couldnt believe it! My wife who they were talking to was very upset, but offered to make a payment via check over the phone. They refused to accept that as payment. They said they would only take a credit card number or debit card as payment. This was the last straw. We told them to basically to go to hell and come pick up their sht using quite a bit more words than that. So our service was disconnect nonetheless.

A week went by and my wife contacted dish network to inquire about the return of equipment. When she called they tried to get her to not return the equipment but to continue to use their service, and during this conversation they mentioned that we would just have to pay over 250 dollars to get our service back. WHAT! We had paid our bill in full the last time! They said the charges were from the month our service was disconnected and a prepay for the next month. They acutally wanted us to pay for the month when our service was disconnected and still prepay a month. We told them where to stick it.

Dish network has been a nitemare and there is nothing we could do about it. We even played the game their way and they still screwed us. I let dishnetwork rob my family please dont listen to a word they say cause its all bullsht
