Back in November I placed an order with Urbanflorist.com to be delivered same day. They sent an automated e-mail confirming that the order was received and also confirming the price after shipping and tax to be 51.98.
The order was never delivered. I left two messages on their customer service voicemail and I sent them an e-mail the next asking why. I got a response in e-mail that "We will have this delivered tomorrow. Sorry for the delayed delivery. We have recently experienced a system crash and lost many orders. Again, sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience & understanding." They also offered a a free dozen roses code that could be used anytime except holidays for the inconvenience.
The order was still not delivered. At this point they stopped returning my e-mails and never once returned my call. I called the order number and waited on hold for ten minutes and then demanded to speak to a manager. 5 minutes later a woman got on the line and I explained my situation and that all I wanted was a refund. (They had also overcharged my credit card 5 dollars). She assured me that this would be taken care of and too allow 7 to ten business days for it to hit my credit card. Before she hung up I asked her to send me an e-mail confirming this and she said she would.
I never got another response from them after about 2 dozen attempts. When I tried to call the order line and demand a manger they would just put me on hold forever. They basically stole from me.
