I am letting everybody know Not to go to Columbia House/DVD. I was a member until now. Of 2006. I was member for 2 years. And because, I ran behind on paying them they ripped me off. They don't respond to emails on time. And there customer service number is a joke. Automated.
I sent them emails about 2 weeks ago stated that my outsatanding would be paided off. And than, no reply back. And than, I sent another email saying that on July this month 2006. That I would give them 26.78. Still nothing. So, they banned me from the website. So, I couldn't pay them.
So, still no reply until recently. They said that they cancelled my membership. I didn't know that. So, because, I couldn't get on the website or get a real person. This before I knew they cancelled my membership. I called in the 26.78 myself. Without knowing they already did it. And since they didn't reply back to me emails stating it over and over. About 5 times.
They just took out 26.78 5 times. And because, I didn't pay on time. They decided to cancell me and take the money. Only suppose to be ONE TIME. And they knew that.
So, I contacted the BBB of Indiania, My Bank, Lawyer, Usa Consumer Complaints.com, whoever else. Because, I'll be getting my 107.12 back. But, whatever you do. Don't join this club. All they do is rip people off. And they're not worth it. I can get DVDs from Target/Walmart.
