I am very angry the co. Columbia House DVD club is sleeping with some very shady buisness crooks which goes by the name of Consumer Research Corp. They promise you a free gift in my case a Sony camcarder if you join Columbia House DVD club. I was trick in to joining because I though Columbia House was a good company since they have been around so long.
I would have never join if it wasn't for the gift that's been since Aug. And I haven't receive anything yet. I e-mail Columbia House about this and they told me they would fix this problem and never did. They gave me a e-mail address to the people that was giving the gift ([email protected]) and said they would fix things for me and when they got back with me they said that they was forwarding this problem to the proper department so it could be handled. Needless to say I didn't hear from them.
I waited a few weeks and e-mail them again I still waiting. I informed Columbia House again and all I get is they will get back with me and so many hours. I have e-mail them at least three times to cancal my membership which haven't happen yet. And they also fills up my e-mail with more offers, as quick as I delete them it full again even when you ask to be taken off their mailing list.
This type of business practice make you afraid to trust internet business these people should be put out of business. Stay far away from the free gifts ad because nothing's free.
