About six months about I began to get harassing letters and calls from Columbia House music club. I had signed up for their club and not bought as many CDs as they wanted me to in the given time. I told them I had lost my job and would complete the agreement when my finances approved. (They had also suckered me into joining their DVD club. I bought way over their requirement in that club.)
That didn't seem to satisfy them and they continued to demand the balance. I told them I was not going to pay them almost $100 dollars without receiving any music. They refused to let me order music and insisted that I pay the entire amount, telling me that after I paid them, I would receive vouchers that could be used to purchase the music. Being the fool that I am, I paid them the balance.
Guess what... I have not received anything from them and have emailed them and called them repeatedly. They have never responded to any emails (even though their website promises a reply in 2 days, and when calling and finally getting a human, I am told that the person on the phone cannot help me, and that someone else will have to call me back. Yeah right, like that has happened!
