I moved my kids to Florida last September. I looked for a Florida moving company that could get their stuff on the return trip. Much to my dismay I fell in with a broker posing as a mover, Viking Van Lines from near Lauderdale. They jobbed the move out to Olympic from Chicago to pick up near Columbus, OH. I paid for extra boxing, wraps and protection that were never provided. Some stuff was broken. Other stuff had water damage. When I found out
what Viking really was I bugged them by phone enough that I got this cocky Israeli bastard named Danny on the phone a few times and claimed a refund of $200 for the extras I bought and didn't get. I'd file the voluminous and confusing paperwork for the damage claim. Eventually Danny said he'd "take care" of the $200 refund. I'm glad I didn't hold my breath waiting for it.
He's a creep and Viking is a scam outfit. I hope he reads this and sues me. I'd love to go into court on a countersuit with as much publicity as possible.
