My business is on Westshore Blvd., Tampa Florida. We were promised to have a network guarantee of 99.9% uptime.in a years time our service dropped at one point 4 times in one week. Nearly every other week we have problems. These Managers at Nuvox have every excuse in the book as to why. They nearly have put me out of business. I have only been calling the Managers because I have had 5 representatives in a years time come and go.
When you call customer service or Carla Card, Director you will get a different excuse every time. Carla Card will flat out lie to your face. The people at Nuvox define the definition of incompetance. When I asked to get out of my agreement they said no because they fixed the problem. The problem is they fix the problem two or three times a week!!! Then they threaten to sue you to collect the unpaid portion of the agreement.
Try asking them for a copy of their outage report. This is a well guarded secret and the District Manager Carla Card will never give this to you because no one would sign up for service if she revealed the truth of the company. Doing business with Nuvox was the worst experience I have had with any of our suppliers.
Their answer to the nightmare was to put me on a service called VOXIP. This was the biggest joke I have ever seen. They put a box in my closet and then had a technician come back out and put a sticker on the box. It basically says the company is not liable for any problems due to 911. This is after the service is installed.
They had this service down for days at a time. One time it was down for three days and no one knew what was going on. Thank god for cell phones. I would love to sue the pants off these guys and the managers in the local Tampa office. Carla Card, District Director is hiding from my calls. Her caller ID must work. Mine doesn't. Any attorneys please call me.
I am not alone and have met with many other businesses that have encountered Nuvox. They all have the same feedback.
