They mail you out a letter (post-marked Canadapost) saying you won "usa mega millions jackpot" of $1,300, 000,000 and give you a check in the amount of $4,825.00 as partial payment of your millions.
Since we play the lottery, we thought it was legitimate, after all, it was backed by "the full authority and support of the American Government" and your winnings would be deposited in an escrow account in one of America's Largest Federally Chartered Banks.
They say to call and initiate your claim process and activate your check. When you depost that check into your own bank account, that bank then says it's a fraudulent check and you get stuck with the banks collectors and bad credits and so on.
The phone # you are told to call is 778-835-9477 Lisa Williams or 778-858-0179 Tom Jones. When you call either party they give you the run-a-round and/or hang up on you and/or send you to their answering machine and never return you calls. When you call the usa direct inc in Vegas, say "yes, we have a bank account from which the money was drawn from, but that it is a money order account only, and to call the bank in Walla Walla Washington" and then more run-a-round *&*&* and to call the Fraud Hotline there and yet *&*&*&!!!
Then your Bank sends Collections Agents to your home and harrass you by phone, mail, etc. And before you know it your caught in the middle of some "Conspiracy" by the Banks all across the country, claiming YOU are the Fraudulent person causing all the comotion! Yet some people have received the exact same amount of winnings and deposited their checks and it "magically" cleared their bank and was not considered fraudulent&sounds like certain banks are running a scheme on innocent consumers and those who follow "their" protocol, don't get nailed as "fraud" but those of us who take a stand and speak out against this get labeled "Fraudulent"
