On Nov. 17, called dish network to see if i had a contract that would keep me from disconnecting and was told, no, that there was no contract. So i called back on Nov 22, after i had all my equipment removed to disconnect my account before my bill was due on Nov. 24. At this time was told that i did indeed have a contract, and would be charged $240 for disconnecting before my contract expired. I informed him that i was told the week before that i didnt have a contract, was told there was no record that i had called. When i told him that i better not be charged, i hung up. So now more than 3 months later, i got an overdue bill, so when i called dishnetwork, i was told because i hung up and didnt tell the csr goodbye, that i wasnt disconnected and that i owed this backdue account.
