I am being ripped off big time by Qwest. I'm going to try to sum this up as best as I can so it makes since and your not sitting here for 3 hours reading my horror story with qwest. I made a call a few days ago to qwest because my bill was 300 and there was no way I could pay all that. Remind you I just switched to a bundle pkg. That a phx representative talked me into for phone, long distance, dsl, and cable for only 79.99 but got this bill for $300.
So this is my story... I called in to make a pmt plan for the $300 dollar bill they said im sorry mam your bill is $717.00 I had to tell the gentleman to hold on while I got myself up off the floor. I was like what? Come find out with my cable bill I had charged $295 in PPV porno's I was like there is no way I charged that, the lady said to me well your husband must be sneaking around. At this time I did not have the bill in front of me so I couldn't see the dates or time. So of course I am taking her word that my husband did this because there is no one else in the house that could order PPV.
We do have a 7 yr old old but I have all that security on the tvs so he cant b able to accidentally order something. I should have known he hadn't but at the time I was in shock. What this woman had told me about how it could have been my husband since I didn't order them made me almost leave my husband, thinking he had a porn problem. My husband promised he didn't rent them. I finally got my bill in the mail today. Well, I started to do research on these porno's qwest said we rented, I am gonna make this clear like I have to everyone else I have talked to this about me and my husband did rent 5 of the porno's on this bill... So I called qwest again after looking at my husbands schedule and the times these were made at like 330pm 4pm 6pm my husband is at work during those times and there not just 1 rented there is like 3 to 4 rented in one day. I am home most of the day I go to school from home and our son gets out of school at 330 there is no way we would rent a porno with our child home.
Then 6 of them were rented when we were not even home during the holiday. I called qwest today 5 different times and got no where but them being down right rude to me. I finally told them I have proof that we did not do this with the times of schedules and cell phone calls, I finally told one lady yeah it must be the darn dogs ordering these, because there the only ones home when were not home. I was told that they were ordered by my remote, I said look this does not make since we did not purchase all of those 5 yes which I will pay for the other no. The guy said do what you have to do. I told him I am going to the news with this, attorney general, congressmen, senator, anyone and every type of media about this. This is wrong what has happened to our bill.
Then to come find out 31 more porno's were rented in the month of Jan that I have not even got that bill. Also qwest did give me a $100 credit I said that's it you need to credit the rest that we did not purchase. They said that's all we can do, I said you know what's funny if this wasn't your fault you wouldn't be even be crediting me nothing... I am going to fight this with all I have. This is so wrong. I have done so much research today on qwest its unbelievable what they are doing to people. I will make sure I put a stop to this. This is wrong, they are ripping so many people off and making millions while most of us are sitting here trying to figure out how they can do this, and get away with it. I told my husband I know this is happening to other people with the cable bill but most people are so afraid to come out and say something because of the porno's,
Well, Im not afraid to admit yes we do rent some porno's but not $300 dollars worth of porno's in a month. I kept telling qwest somehow someone is charging my account with there porno addictions, or something has gone wrong in there billing department. I will make sure I get to the bottom of this...
I hope that no one else has to go through what we have gone through rather it be with there services with the phone, Internet, cable and/or wireless. Its just wrong...
