Usbi - Nsbi lied saying they were Qwest and that NSBI would now be handling long distance for Qwest. They slammed my phone bill They Said Las Vegas

In June, NSBI (Network Services) called me and told me several times that they were Qwest. They told me that NSBI would be taking over the long distance service for Qwest, and that it would still be billed on my Qwest billing, but it would say NSBI. They verified my phone bill info.

After the call, I called and spoke to a Qwest representative who told me this was bogus. They put a freeze on my long distance, so that it could not be changed without my personal request to Qwest.

In July, my Qwest bill showed charges for Qwest long distance AND a charge from USBI. I called Qwest and they confirmed the freeze on my account, but told me this billing was not showing as one for long distance. They refused the billing from USBI and put a block on my account to prevent them from billing further. After speaking with them, I called USBI, who is the billing agent for NSBI, and told them to cancel the NSBI account with me. They argued, but agreed to cancel.

Now, on my August billing from Qwest, USBI is still listed. There is no charge, but I called Qwest to make sure that everything is indeed frozen and to see why this had again shown on my bill. They said when a billing name shows with a 0.00 balance for charges, it means the company billed me again but Qwest refused to take the billing.

So, even though I cancelled the account, they still sent another bill. I called USBI again and was told the account is cancelled, but that another bill had gone out before the cancellation took effect.

In this case, I lost no money, but I have had other similar instances in the past, when I did not get all of my money back.in fact, one of those is still billing my account according to Qwest. I am not getting charges because Qwest has it blocked.

In that case, I was never even called by anyone to attempt to scam me, they just started billing me without any contact or authorization.

These companies are running scams and ripping people off and should be stopped!
