I am currently employed @White Cap which was recently purchesd by the Home Depot. I am an exemplary performer and am currently working in an interim management position.
I was convicted of felony vandalism 5 years ago. I stated that informaiton on my application and I was hired. Nos, three years later I am going up for a promotion and my company has to give me a background check because I am moving from an hourly to a salary position.
Home Depot says that my felony may be a terminable offense and when they run the backround check I may be terminated.
How can that happen!!!
