Ripoff, bill payed and without service 2 more weeks, on hold over 2 hours! NON-EXISTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE slow prossessing tricked and lied to us ripoff waste of time deceptive company slow prossessing

Phone cut off due to overdue bill. I'll give them that the bill was overdue, but I did call and inquire about certain charges that appeared on the bill. Next day phone off. I called WorldCom and was told that I owed X amount. I had sent a check earlier that week but it was not enough to cover balance. I asked if I could pay by Visa, told yes, and given a referrence number to prove I had payed. I was told phone would be reconnected that night.

Next day. Phone still not on and is now Friday. Called and told that it takes 24 hours. OK 24 hours later, I called (because phone still not on) and was told it would be Monday because weekends didn't count. OH!

Monday, was told that it take 36 hours. Weekends don't count. Wednesday, was told that it takes 72 hours.

Asked to speak with supervisor, but told it was not a supervisor problem. Ahhhhh!

By this time I had the CANCELLED check and Visa referrence number but the payment had not been posted.

At this point, I started taking names and dates. Finally spoke with "Kimberly" a supervisor. I would change the names to protect the ignorant, but then I would have to change all of their names. At this point I had talked to at least 5 people and never received the same story twice. Kimberly was not helpful so I asked to speak to her supervisor. I was informed by Kimberly that she had NO supervisor. I asked to speak with someone higher. She informed me that there wasn't anyone higher. I asked if she was the CEO and she said no. So I said "then there is someone higher?", and she said "not in my department". God help 'em all.

After numerous calls and HOURS of " All of our Customer Service Representatives are busy, Your call is very important to us, We appreciate your patience. Please hold for the next available representative", and approximately 2 weeks from the day I lost service, I finally spoke with someone who knew what they were doing. I won't use her name because she was the only one I talked with that wasn't a complete idiot. My service was back on the next day.

Now you would think that was the end of that.

Well, me too.

Two weeks later, I have no service. I receive "Message 7: You are not an authorized use of this carrier. I call the WorldCom number to find out (AFTER 2 HOURS ON HOLD, no exageration, I timed it) that my serial number on my phone does not match the carrier number. Now I've been using this phone for a year, and all of a sudden my serial number is wrong in their computer. I've been promised service in 2 to 24 hours. Its been over 2, but under 24 at the time of this writing. You can be sure this will be amended if it's not on in 24 hours.

My contract is up May 10. Anyone know a GOOD cellular service?
