Office Depot advertises an on line add for an LG L1950S computer monitor priced at $419.99. There are several rebates involved which they claim they will honor. They offer an on-line 'coupon' for $30 of an order $150.00. When I try to purchase it, they claim that is a nationwide ad and the monitors come from the individual stores via delivery. They claim the monitors are not offered for sale in my area (Dallas-Fort Worth). When I call local stores, they have the monitors in-stock.
I OfficeDepot.com customer service and explained the situation. I asked if I could order the monitor through him, since he represents OfficeDepot.com and just pick up the monitor. He says that's fine, but they won't give me the $30 unless I have it delivered. I can't have it delivered unless I order it on-line, which I can't do because they claim they are not available for sale in my area.
