I ordered a joystick from newegg.com on 11/08/05 to be delivered using UPS Ground.
The package arrived on 11/10/05 Thursday 3:13PM.
I was at work on that day and nobody was home. When I got home at 6:30PM, I saw a box left outside my apartment's door. When I opened up the package, I found out that it was my newegg order. I went to www.ups.com to find out why the package was left outside my door without a signature because I have never received a UPS package that does not require a signature. After I typed in my tracking number, I found out that the delivery guy sign the package himself. I have the screenshot of my tracking history to prove it.
It states that the package was signed by "DING".
Luckily nobody in over three hours has stolen the package. However, I feel cheated by UPS for not fulfilling its service obligations. If the package has something more valuable and it's stolen, then there will be a lot trouble for me since the UPS guy forged my signature.
