This company must be stopped in its tracks, there are complaints from all over the country about this rip off alarm company, there are ex employees who have exposed them and then they are whitewashed and dismissed as liars, they even have set up a phony department to pretend to answer all the complaints, not all the people who have lodged complaints are liars most of them are honest hardworking people monitronics was formed on a big lie, they only care about screwing people by signing up dealers who are mercenaries most of whom break state licensing laws, they use expensive lawyers to silence people who speak the truth, I am an independent investigator who has tracked this company by obtaining alarm system permit info on its customers, not one customer has an installation permit pulled from local building and inspection department, not one installation company did follow state contracting laws and not one job was inspected by a certified engineer and not one independent subcontractor held workmans comp insurance or passed a background check in any of the 22 states I investigated and I am only half way through my 35 state investigation.
I called this company many times with different scenarios, firstly they only use subcontractors for outside work, installs, service etc yet I was qouted outrageous prices from numerous operators for
different service requests, it seems like they just make up a number and double it.
Next I found out some prime info from an employee who said that Monitronics are going to go public soon and issue stock as an IPO, dont waste your time or money as there will be issues with accounting scandals like Enron or Tyco, this company has been cooking its books for a while now to suit its investors, it has a record of lying, cheating and stealing from its customers natiowide and it has a list of ex disgruntled employees and subcontractors as far as the eye can see, to prove my case just read the list here of nationwide complaints, I have yet to complete my investigation of this company but it has class action written all over it, what bothers me most is how they have no records of any installation work completed in any building department history yet they have hundreds of thousands of accounts unlike ADT or Brinks who routinely pull permits on installations.
Please, if you know anyone who has an alarm system with this company advise them to cancel asap before their credit gets screwed or they have a break in and there is no response or the alarm fails to operate due to
bad workmanship, lets get them off the street
before they lie, cheat or misrepresent another innocent consume
