Ripoff added Complete Choice Plan to my account without asking me

This is the report I filed with the better business bureau:

Someone, who said they were from BellSouth, came to my house while I was not there and convinced my wife to sign something that he said would lower our bill. When I got home and found out what had happened, I called the phone company and was told no one from them was supposed to be going door to door in our neighborbood. I confirmed no changes had been made to my account and told them I did not authorize any changes to be made to my account in the near future.

I was assured no changes had been made to my account and that I would be notified before any changes were made to it in the future.

But I noticed my phone bill was much higher this month and, when I checked the itemization, I saw I was being billed for a service I did not order (Complete Choice Plan). I noticed two charges had been added to my bill for the "Complete Choice Plan. "One for $29.00 and another for $17.40.

I called their Customer Service number (1-888-757-6500) and Ms. Sloss removed the unauthorized service, but would not credit me for the month I did not know it had been added to my account.

1. They should not be allowed to randomly change someone's services
and

2. They should not be allowed to profit from sneaking charges into people's bills.
