D. Moss Comfort Shoes ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing, giving store credit on returned purchase not written in the unclarified store policy receipt

I bought a pair of shoes for my son for $45 hoping this will fit him since he was in school on June 15 for a very important occasion. It did not fit him right so I returned them the following day June 16 and the owner gave me a receipt written "store credit."

I asked for my money back since I don't see any credit back on my debit card. I called back on June 30 but the owner claimed that this was a policy of the store which was not written in the back of the receipt.

This is embarrasing since this shoe store happens to be in my neighborhood who is ripping his own community.
