I had ordered service through 18004APHONE and they told me it would be on in 1-3 days. On the fourth day I called them back they told me it would be on Monday called monday evening and they told me they hooked it up that there was a dial tone on their end.
I was calling from a payphone and a telecommunications specialist by chance had heard my conversation and said he would be happy to come check out my lines to make sure I did have a dial tone. He checked and sure enough NO dial tone so I called them back got the supervisor and he said oh we forgot to add the A in your address call back in 2 hours.
I called back 2 hours later got a different supervisor who said they had turned it on the previous day and that my line in the home was bad and it was ONLY their responsibility to turn it on from downtown not come to my home and check the lines.
They refuse to give me my money back and I still have no phone. I paid them 85 bucks to have it turned on! THe gentlemen who came to look at my phone lines gave me his card and said if I wanted to pursue this and take them to court I could call him and he would testify to the fact I have no phone service so I am going to follow through but wanted to post it here first!
