I had Dish Network service in Mason, MI for a little over a year. Never missed a payment, never late. Cancelled the service when I moved 1 year and 2 weeks later. The contract was for 1 year.
A year ago, I saw a hit on my Credit Report for $368.00 from Dish Network. I called, was told it was for cancelling my contract early. I told them to pull the records and send them to me, as I know it was cancelled 2 weeks AFTER the 1 year contract. They called back and said yes, I was right, we were wrong, we will take care of it.
Well, as you can guess, they didn't do anything. Recently, I tried to contact them. Talked to 3 different people, all have said they will check the microfiche, and let me know what the problem is. I have tried for 3 months now to contact all these people, to no avail. They don't answer their phones, and they never return Voice Mails.
I found out that I can hit the */T to transfer to another extension if I get a Voice Mail recording, so I *T'd 25 extensions at Dish Network, and not ONE person answered the phones (this is in their 'Executive Offices'). NOT ONE! Unreal.
If anyone is in the same boat - Phone #720-514-7320/21 are supervisors numbers. If you get Voice Mail, hit * T on your phone, and enter any extension beginning with 4-73 or 4-76.
So, no help from Dish Network. Emailed them, since they don't supply a physical address, and copied the AG's office in Lansing, Michigan.
Will see what happens!
