I recieved my first bill from National Water and Power. My billing period was 04/01 - 04/06. The service fee is $3.25. So, for the first 6 days of my tennency I'm being billed 30 days worth of "Service Fees". Not to mention the $10 "New Account Fee" which seems steep.
So here's a great money generating scenario for any devious company. And it's wrong. The fees should be pro-rated.
I presented my bill to the property manager and she quickly credited "my account" $13 for my trouble and I appreciate that. But I don't think that these nice people should be held responsible for National Water & Powers' bad business practices.
