National Water & Power is a company that apartment owners love to use make money from fees. I live in a small one bedroom apartment and I am billed $3.00 for water, $9.88 for sewage, $5.60 for a trash fee and a service charge of $3.00.in my apartment complex contract, there is no mention of a "service" fee. The service fee is $36 per year in my case. I have often had the same problems with this company as other customers. Bills come late and are already due or I don't get bills at all. The late charge for this company is $7. So in my case with my National Water and Power, I am being screwed over with fees, which are pure profit.
There are no other utility companies that I know of, which are allowed to bill you $3 a month just send you a bill each month. This practice should be illegal and companies like National Water and Power should be regulated. I would be interested in participating in a class action lawsuit against National Water and Power.
Please don't make the same mistake I did, when you see an apartment complex that uses National Water and Power, don't sign the lease! Run, don't walk, away from the place!
