I am writing to expose Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water for their outrageous late fees. I own a small business and have had their water service for over 11 years. I started to notice $15 dollar late fees if I didn't pay my entire bill. Until recently, I never intentionally paid them less than the full balance, however when I noticed a $15 late fee for a $30 water bill. I paid the bill but subtracted the late fee. Then they sent me another bill and charged a new $15 dollar late fee. I called them and asked them to waive the fee, they refused. I asked them to come pick up their equiptment.instead, I got a new bill, with $19.66 in charges plus a $15 late fee. The late fee is 76% of the bill.
I believe that a $15 late fee is way too high for a $30-$40 dollar water bill. They are making more money on late fees than water. A 10% late fee would be more appropiate. I am cancelling their service and NOT paying their $45 dollar late fees. They have allready threatened me with collection over this. I refuse to deal with this company any more.
